DarkSpider allows you to search news media using simple keywords or advanced boolean operators, giving you control over how precise or broad your search results are. This feature ensures that you can find exactly what you’re looking for, no matter how specific your query may be.
After performing a search, you can choose to view your results directly on Tocsin Data, or output them in RSS or JSON format, depending on your needs. Saving a search costs one credit, and running a search loop (which can be customized in your settings) costs one additional credit per loop.
New to DarkSpider, the Filtered Search Results feature groups related search results and returns only the best result per group based on user-defined settings. This filter costs one additional credit but can save you credits in the long run by eliminating redundant or irrelevant results.
For non-English search results, DarkSpider offers a Translation feature that automatically translates content into English. This feature costs three credits per non-English result and requires the Filtered Search Results feature to be enabled. You only pay for translations when they are needed, ensuring efficient use of your credits.
Similar to the Translation feature, DarkSpider also provides geographic data, returning the Latitude and Longitude of relevant results. This feature also costs three additional credits per search and requires the Filtered Search Results to be enabled. It's perfect for tracking the location of key data points.
